Sonu Shankar, Phosphorus’ VP for Product Management, stated that xIoT devices are spreading. However, the series of attacks on these devices has also increased immensely. 

Hackers have become smarter and better at their craft. They can now evade and breach companies’ defences using these unmonitored xIoT devices. 

Meanwhile, Shankar stated that the Phosphorus security platform provides unparalleled functionalities. These functions help companies to find, monitor, and fix xIoT devices.

However, Phosphorus has taken things further with its recent enhancements. It has upgraded its platform to offer more security tools for organizations. 

In addition, the latest enhancements will help firms to remove all weaknesses related to their xIoT devices. Besides, reports reveal that several hackers usually exploit these devices.

Further, the latest version of the xIoT Security Platform now has features under new categories. The categories include Remediation, Hardening, and Configuration Management.

Instead of using various security platforms to protect their devices, they can use just one. The Phosphorus system comes with all the tools that they need in one location. 

The New Functionalities 

The configuration management function allows organizations to have up-to-date certificates for their gadgets. The number of devices deployed does not affect this function.

Before now, the platform allows certificate checks to see if they are bad. However, the security giant has added a new option.

Now, the platform has an Upload Certificate option. Organizations can now install the latest security certificate on all their devices.

Additionally, Phosphorus now provides Reboot Device and Disable Service actions. This allows organizations to harden their xIoT devices and reduce the risk of attacks.

Meanwhile, the Enterprise xIoT Security Platform is the only fully packed xIoT platform in the industry. It offers unique functions and features for various devices like xIoT, OT, and IoT. 

This tool allows large enterprises to scale xIoT solutions without the need for extra staff to protect them. Also, facilities, security teams, and industries can now work on one platform.
